Buy one! Buy many! You’ll want to read it more than once. I might even buy a copy, although I do have the print-outs from pre-production.

No, but seriously, this is an outstanding introduction into public choice and a very handy reference to have on hand on how to “think through” many of these issues.

    2. Jon Roland says:

You need to tell us more about why we might want to buy and read the book. Much has already been written about public choice theory and its applications to the field of law, but not enough about solutions to public choice as a problem, or set of problems.

For example, I seldom find much about how juries were established to avoid the public choice problem, and how they, and other varieties of sortition, seem to be the only solutions anyone has found to the problems.

OT: This blog doesn’t seem to offer a way we can search on comments. In the old blog I could easily find all my comments to all the posts, but with this one I seem to just have to note or remember which ones I commented on. Similarly, I am not able to find all the comments from selected others across multiple posts.
