Microsoft is sponsoring a new blog at TechPolicy.com, designed to feature the ideas and comments of a long list of academics who write in the area of technology policy, as well as some other related stuff. The blog is supposed to follow five general topics:
* Intellectual Property, Patents & Licensing
* Cloud Computing / Software & Services
* Competition Policy & Antitrust
* Economic Growth & The Knowledge Economy
* Privacy & Security
I’m one of the academics, and while I don’t know how often I’ll blog over there exclusively, I might end up cross-posting some things.
I should also add that I have no idea if the site will be active: It seems sort of corporate and therefore blogospherically suspect. But hey, maybe it will be good.
