Director Sidney Lumet died this morning at the age of 86. Among his many films were the classics “12 Angry Men,” “Network,” “Serpico,” and “Dog Day Afternoon.” His last film was “Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead.” His later work may not have rivaled his early classics, but he was a tremendous filmmaker with a long and impressive career.
