Jack Brounstein (mail) (www):
Nicole Kidman won an Oscar for playing Virgina Woolf in The Hours.
Cate Blanchett won an Oscar for playing Katherine Hepburn in The Aviator.
Jamie Foxx won an Oscar for playing Ray Charles in Ray.

I don't know who Lee Krasner is, but with a bit of Googling (which I assume is cheating) it should be easy to find who won an Oscar for playing him.

Marcia Gay Harden won an Oscar for playing Lee Krasner in "Pollock". Lee Krasner was Jackson Pollock's wifer (and a talented abstract expressionist artist as well.)
