The British Tory Leader:

The other day, Randy mentioned David Cameron's first question period with Tony Blair. Michael Barone has more.

Visitor Again:
I watched this Question Time thanks to the link on the Volokh Conspiracy and thoroughly enjoyed it. I tried to imagine George Bush standing up to that kind of back and forth--and couldn't. I'm English by birth and my first 10 years--and still a British subject in their eyes--and so perhaps I'm biased in favor of this kind of debate. The beauty of it is that it's raucous and yet at the same time so polite. But I suspect most here would think it beneath the dignity of our leader to yield to this sort of thing. Cameron's "You once were the future" was classic; even Blair--over the hill in his early 50s compared to Cameron's 39--appeared to appreciate it.
