Amazing woman. It is easy to take all the women in legal faculties (and other important jobs in the private and public sectors) for granted, but it wasn't that long ago when there were practically none. And this woman blazed a trail.

We lost a California Court of Appeal justice a few years ago named Mildred Lillie. She was similar; she held her post for more than 40 years, from a time when the bench was basically all male.
