I think all political leaders should do exercise/workout videos. Think of it: Pilates with Sarkozy. . . .

He appears to be a nut.

Nero anyone?

titus32:
That's actually not a bad comparison, Happyshooter. Of course, to say the least, Nero did not project a masculine image. At any rate, Putin is an emperor for the 21st century.

Putin has been a Judo player for a long time. In addition, the Soviet Block countries (or what used to be the Soviet Block countries) are very strong in Olympic Judo and similar competitions -- look at the world team competition in Japan recently and the success of both Georgia and Russia and other countries in that competition.

Russian bombers escorted over the sea of Japan again today too. Is there any other country that flies bombers at other nation's borders right now? Why do they do this again? To let everyone know how dangerous they are? Is it another manifestation of Putin's napoleon complex?

I also ready something about their government budget increasing so fast over the past few years that right now if oil falls and stays below 90$ a barrel they will be unable to make ends meet. The whole country went nouveau riche on oil money and it's going to be a bitter pill to swallow on the downside. I'm sure all blame will be pointed outwards though. That's what dictators do.
