With all that Obama has on his plate, I doubt he will be much interested in guns for a while. Congress, on the other hand, always has time for mischief. Obama's will sign/veto a gun bill so as best to preserve his political capital.
So long as the Medicare subsidy merely reduces the cost to that of a standard handgun, it makes perfect sense. AIUI, if you're disabled, Medicare won't buy you a car, but it will pay to equip your car with whatever arrangements you need in order to drive it despite your disability; or it will pay the difference between the cost of an already-equipped car and one not so equipped. The same principle should apply here. But I doubt it would have to be allowed in plane cabins; surely there are already perfectly genuine medical devices that are not allowed in the cabin and must be checked.
I'm not convinced that this design is an improvement over the old 'Chicago Palm Pistol'
I love the irony of this being manufactured by the 'Chicago Firearms Company'. I wonder how long this company has been defunct or at least driven away.
The Chicago Plam Pistol is definatly a better pistol. I love mine but )(()^^^__+^Wre602936 it is hard to find ammo. 32 extra short rim fire. I would love to find a box or two.
We thought you might be interested to learn that the FDA has completed its “Device/Not a Device” determination and concluded the handgun will be listed as a Class I Medical Device
So next time a nurse wants to give you a shot, be careful what you consent to...

A single shot seems a little light. I would like to see at least two barrels, if not four.

Comments must be relevant and civil (and, especially, free of name-calling). We think of comment threads like dinner parties at our homes. If you make the party unpleasant for us or for others, we'd rather you went elsewhere. We're happy to see a wide range of viewpoints, but we want all of them to be expressed as politely as possible.
We realize that such a comment policy can never be evenly enforced, because we can't possibly monitor every comment equally well. Hundreds of comments are posted every day here, and we don't read them all. Those we read, we read with different degrees of attention, and in different moods. We try to be fair, but we make no promises.
And remember, it's a big Internet. If you think we were mistaken in removing your post (or, in extreme cases, in removing you) -- or if you prefer a more free-for-all approach -- there are surely plenty of ways you can still get your views out.
