Maryland Vaccines and Autism Ruling:

I just noticed that last Spring's Maryland Court of Appeals (Maryland's highest court) ruling tossing out a plaintiff's claim that vaccines caused his autism and mental retardation has an extensive quotation from an article of mine on the scope of the Frye general acceptance test. While I doubt my article had any effect on the outcome of the case, I'm very proud of whatever limited role it played in combating such pernicious nonsense.

UPDATE: By the way, the court cites a BNA reprint version of the article. The original is Frye, Frye, Again: The Past, Present, and Future of the General Acceptance Test, 41 Jurimetrics 385 (2001).
