New Circuit Justice Assignments:

SCOTUSBlog points out that with the passing of Chief Justice Rehnquist, the Supreme Court today has announced temporary new Circuit Justice assignments that have redistributed the late Chief’s duties as Circuit Justice. The old ones are here, and the new ones are here. Justice Ginsburg has picked up the DC Circuit; Justice Thomas has picked up the Fourth Circuit; and Justice Breyer has picked up the Federal Circuit.
