Crooked Timber has a list. (h/t) I don’t think it’s that bad: Most comments, at least here, are very good. On the other hand, moderating comment threads does teach you that there are a lot of people who feel that the world has treated them unfairly — and that they see the Internet as a good place to vent those frustrations.
