A line from Kipling that has been bouncing around my head. Rather on the communitarian side, I suppose, but that doesn’t keep it from being true. (A major challenge in legal and political theory, I think, is to identify and reconcile the truths of libertarian thinking and the truths of communitarian thinking.)
