I’ve noticed that Liberty Magazine, a monthly libertarian periodical, has been advertising on the VC. Coincidentally, I’ve been meaning to post something suggesting that libertarian readers subscribe to this magazine. (Non-libertarians might enjoy it, too, but Liberty is meant to be a “movement” magazine by and for libertarians).
I’ve been reading it for over a decade, and it’s had its ups and downs, but it really seems to have hit its stride of late. Not every article is a “hit,” but Liberty has published some great writing of late, including a wonderfully contemptuous (for all the right reasons) obituary of Sen. Kennedy (scroll down) by editor Stephen Cox.
UPDATE: Here is an example of another excellent essay by Cox, reviewing Ann Heller’s new biography of Ayn Rand.
