I have been on the road all day and unable to update two previous posts in a timely manner. Although I have now done so, given the delay, I wanted to call readers attention to these two updates.
The first concerns the TSA directive I posted yesterday. Had I to do it over, I would still have posted it, but without any implied affirmation of its authenticity. Indeed, I would have added an express disclaimer of any personal knowledge of its authenticity.
The second concerns the YouTube clip of Senator Max Baucus’s partisan rant on the floor of the Senate in which he appears to be intoxicated. At least one reader thinks a longer YouTube clip of the speech undercuts this conclusion as Baucus seems more articulate in the minutes just before the clip in which he is obviously slurring his words. So I have now posted the longer clip as an update to the original post so readers can make up their own minds.
UPDATE TO THIS UPDATE: Baucus denies being drunk.
