Well, one reason I haven’t been blogging much is precisely that I’ve been busy reading The Confusion. I thought Cryptonomicon was fantastic, one of the best novels I’ve read in many years. I thought Quicksilver was good, but not nearly as good as Cryptonomicon. So far (I’m about 60% into the book), The Confusion seems excellent.
