Executive Director/Constitutional Litigator

The Institute for Justice, the nation’s leading libertarian public interest law firm, is opening a state chapter in Florida and is seeking an energetic, hard working, entrepreneurial executive director interested in helping IJ build its newest chapter. IJ litigates cutting-edge constitutional cases in the areas of economic liberty, free speech, private property rights and school choice in both state and federal courts nationwide. Including two cases currently before the U.S. Supreme Court, we have litigated five cases before the High Court. IJ-Florida seeks an attorney with 5-7 years of litigation experience; including extensive Florida state court experience; excellent communication skills, including potential for high-profile media and fundraising; an entrepreneurial spirit; a solid academic record; a passion for freedom; and a good sense of humor. Clerkship experience is preferred and Spanish proficiency is a plus. Salary commensurate with experience.
