I was on a machine I had never been on before, something that takes out the red blood cells and then puts the plasma back – I was not quite sure how it worked, but it seemed to be recirculating the yellowish plasma back into me after extracting the red part. Took somewhat longer, but I understand that it gives much more blood bang for the time involved. So I guess I should say that, after the centerfuging and extraction-replacement of my plasma … I am the distilled essence of coolness! (Update: per commenter below, since the heavier parts of my blood have been removed and the lighter parts, the plasma, restored, along with saline, we have to say that … I am the diluted essence of coolness!)
