Today is my last day as a visitor at the Georgetown Law Center. Although the semester was very draining—in part due to my commuting by air to Boston most weekends—it was also highly rewarding. I really enjoyed my time participating in what is an amazingly warm and intellectually engaging community. Before my visit, I was simply unaware of how truly impressive a law school Georgetown is, but that is what visits are for.
So on my final day, I wish to express my appreciation to the faculty, staff, and especially the students for making my time here so stimulating and enjoyable, and for making me feel so welcome.
Still, I am looking forward to being at home, to teaching constitutional law at BU in the spring, to spending time with my BU colleagues, and even to blogging more actively than I was able to this fall.
