Arvin Tseng (Rebuttable Presumption) points to these lines, reported by the AP:
I receive your help faith, knowing that through you I shall do valiantly, for you are the one who treads down my enemies. . . .
[P]ray for each other, each others family, and for our school. . . .
Education in New Orleans, is in trouble.
What’s interesting — both for Establishment Clause reasons (especially as to the first item), and as a commentary on the state of education — is that all these lines were apparently distributed, in writing, by the principal of a New Orleans middle school. (The first one is clearly attributed to the principal; the other two also seem to have been from her, as I read the article, but in any event come from someone in the school’s administration.)
