Are You a Parent of a Teen?

If so, you might want to note the first three definitions of the word "teen," from the Oxford English Dictionary:

1. Harm inflicted or suffered; injury, hurt, mischief; damage.

2. Irritation, vexation, annoyance; anger, wrath, rage; spite, ill-will, malice. transf. Something vexatious, a cause of annoyance; a trouble.

3. Affliction, trouble, suffering, grief, woe.

As they say, I am not making this up. Note, though, that the OED marks these definitions as "arch[aic]" and "Obs[olete]" -- an obvious error.
