You were in a Bullshit! episode with Penn Jillette.

Penn Jillette was in the Aristocrats (which is a good movie by the way--if you ever want to watch it with someone and you're in DC, give me a call) with Kevin Pollak.

Kevin Pollak was in A Few Good Men with Kevin Bacon!

I went to high school with a guy named Ron Thomas, who was in The Karate Kid with Ralph Macchio;

Macchio was in My Cousin Vinnie with Joe Pesci (as a side note, MCV is one of the best courtroom movies of all time);

Pesci was in JFK with Kevin Bacon.

Well, I know a woman who appeared in JFK (as Donald Sutherland's secretary, so she was probably hired by Cirby) so that's a 2.

Meanwhile, I can connect us on the silver screen:

Martin Sheen appeared with Charlie Sheen in Hot Shots Part Deux! (2) (and in Wall Street)

Charlie Sheen appeared with Jon Cryer in Hot Shots! and also currently in Two and a Half Men (3)

I appeared on screen with Jon Cryer in (the execrable) "Morgan Stewart's Coming Home (4)

Trying to tighten this up. Cryer and Bacon have just got to be more closely connected than this.

Actually, thanks to the Oracle (and thanks to Waldensian for mentioning it), my Kevin Bacon number dropped to 2.

I was an extra in a crowd scene in one of the worst movies of all time Matilda (1978), whose plot revolved a boxing kangaroo. The movie starred Elliott Gould (although I am sure he wishes he could forget about it).

However, Gould was in The Big Picture with Kevin Bacon.

By the way, for those of you who are political and movie junkies, both Ronald Reagan and Fred Thompson have Bacon numbers of 2.

Reagan appeared with Eddie Albert in The Young Doctors. Albert appeared with Bacon in The Big Picture.

Thompson appeared with John Lafayette in White Sands. Lafayette appeared with Bacon in Loverboy.

I didn't think Francis Bacon counted. But since you're the professor, I guess I have a Bacon number of 1 because I reproduced a Francis Bacon for a client once...the other Francis Bacon...but bacon's bacon right?

My Bacon number is 3. I was an extra in crowd during some of the basketball scenes of Blue Chips (some of which shot here in Indiana), which had Bob Knight protraying himself. Knight also played himself in Anger Management, with Jack Nicholson. Jack, of course, was in A Few Good Men with Kevin Bacon.

And I was thinking when I first read this, "No way am I less than 6 degrees from Kevin Bacon." Wrong!!
